Search High Salary Sales Jobs

Sales jobs in North Carolina are quite varied and available throughout the state. The traditional economy of North Carolina in the earliest part of the state's history, and all the way through to the present day, is based on agriculture, and the state is one of the largest and best-known producers of tobacco in the world, with Winston-Salem at the center of the industry in the state. North Carolina's healthy agricultural output also includes poultry, eggs, cattle and soybeans. Heavy industrial production in the state is dominated by textile and furniture production, but much of that production has been moved to overseas and other foreign markets due to lower costs of labor. The largest growth in the state, which is occurring simultaneously in multiple metro areas in North Carolina, is based on financial services and banking, biotechnology and other technology development and research. Charlotte, Raleigh and Greensboro especially are undergoing large population growth and the employment outlook and number of available sales jobs in those regions is quite good. Just outside of North Carolina, we also have a large compilation of updated sales jobs listings in South Carolina. Banking and financial services sales jobs remain ubiquitous in Charlotte, the largest banking center in the U.S. after New York and is home to Bank of America, Wachovia and BB&T Bank. The Raleigh Durham area has also seen large growth in IT and biotech, so that IT sales jobs and biotech sales jobs in North Carolina are quite readily available. Research Triangle Park, in Raleigh-Durham, is a hotbed of research and development and the plethora of top-flight universities and colleges in North Carolina make it an excellent location for both employers and employees. Wake Forest, University of North Carolina, N.C. State and Duke are all in the vicinity of the research hotbed of the state, while the North Carolina Research Campus, near Charlotte, promises even more available employment opportunities and sales jobs in North Carolina.
